For a full decade, The Po’ Ramblin’ Boys have lived bluegrass across countless highways, fueled by a deep love for the music they play. Hard-charging, heartfelt, and unmistakably true-blue, their sound has carried them into the hearts of fans nationwide. “We live what we play and sing about,” says bandleader C.J. Lewandowski — and it shows.

Like the classic songs they perform, the band has weathered its own share of highs and lows. They’ve felt the ache of the road and the pull of home, endured lineup changes, and celebrated new beginnings. They’ve stood on some of the music world’s most iconic stages, earned a Grammy nomination for Toil, Tears & Trouble, and even landed a nod for the IBMA Entertainer of the Year award.

Their travels have taken them to every corner of America, where they’ve gathered stories, met folks from all walks of life, and kept their eyes trained on the truth — the lifeblood of their songwriting. Their first No. 1 on the Bluegrass Unlimited chart, “Wanderers Like Me,” captures their spirit perfectly: Wanderers like me don’t settle down for no one… chasing dreams is all I ever need.

Now stepping into a fresh chapter, The Po’ Ramblin’ Boys welcome a new wave of energy with guitarist John Gooding of California and fiddle player Max Silverstein from “the great bluegrass state of Maine.” The newcomers — both in their 20s — join Lewandowski, banjo master Jereme Brown, and bassist Jasper Lorentzen to form a lineup as dynamic as it is seasoned. Onstage, they trade grins, play off each other’s sparks, and fold the audience into the moment.

As they enter their second decade, the band is doubling down on the hard-core bluegrass foundation that built them. Lewandowski hints that the next record will “kick it back to the beginning — a solid damn ’grass album.” And naturally, they’ll take it straight back out on the road, doing what they do best: carrying bluegrass into places it’s never been, without ever diluting what makes it shine.

The Po’ Ramblin’ Boys aren’t chasing trends — they’re chasing truth, tradition, and the wide-open road ahead. And they’re bringing everyone along for the ride.
